Pie crust terracotta planter
Hand-thrown in South Yorkshire, this terracotta pie crust planter is a traditional design, each one skilfully embellished with a decorative frill as it turns on the potter's wheel. The unglazed clay has a natural warmth that sits comfortably in any setting. A simple, reliable shape that works well in both formal and informal gardens.
Fully vitrified during firing, it's made to withstand the rigours of the British climate all year round, while remaining breathable and free draining to keep roots healthy. Over time, the surface will develop a soft patina from weather and watering, adding character and helping it settle naturally into the garden.
Ideal for anchoring a small shrub, mix of perennials or seasonal display, it'll sit easily on its own or grouped with other pots by a doorway or in a sunny corner.
