Monday - Friday
£5.95 Available on all items as a flat fee to UK mainland addresses. The majority of items marked as ‘in stock’ will be shipped within 3 - 5 working days and house plants and seeds within 2 - 4 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Deliveries to all UK islands (excluding Jersey and Guernsey), Scottish Highlands and other areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge of £10. Once dispatched, we aim to deliver most items within 3 working days (exc. named day deliveries, Sunday and public holidays). Postcode restrictions apply. Please note, deliveries to remote postcodes may take slightly longer.

Please note, some items will be shipped separately including bulbs, bedding, compost, selected pots, seeds and items shipped directly from our trusted suppliers so may arrive ahead of other items in your order. All other items will be grouped and sent out to you within the longest lead time.

£10.99 Available on items marked as 'in stock' only. Excludes Sundays, public holidays and all surcharge areas. Some large heavy items are excluded from Saturday delivery.

Bulbs only


Monday - Friday
£3.95 Available on orders containing bulbs only (including bulb collections). Delivery prices will be automatically updated at checkout. Surcharge not applied. Excludes weekends and public holidays. Bulbs are dispatched separately so may arrive ahead of other items in your order.

Seeds only

£2.95 Available on orders containing seed packets only. Delivery prices will be automatically updated at checkout. Surcharge not applied. Excludes weekends and public holidays.

With the exception of bulbs, bedding, compost, selected pots, seeds and items shipped directly from our trusted suppliers, your orders shipment date is determined by the item with the longest availability lead time i.e. if an item has a 4 week lead time, your order will be held until all items are available to be shipped together, which may be at any point within the 4 weeks. Once dispatched, we ain to deliver most items within 3 working days (exc. named day deliveries, Sunday and public holidays). Postcode restrictions apply.

What happens when I place an order?

Once an order has been placed on the website, you will receive an email explaining:

  • What you have ordered
  • How much you have paid
  • Where have you have asked for it to be delivered, together with any delivery instructions
  • Any gift message that you may have asked for

What areas do you deliver to?

We now deliver to all UK mainland addresses. Please note that deliveries to all UK islands (excluding Jersey and Guernsey), Scottish Highlands and other areas of Scotland will incur a surcharge of £10 (unless bulb or seed only orders).

Unfortunately, we also no longer ship to Northern Ireland.

Exceptions & restrictions

We’re sorry, but we don’t delivery to Jersey, Guernsey, BFPO addresses or Northern Ireland.

All delivery options are subject to availability and working days exclude public holidays.

Can I return the goods?

You can return anything you're not happy with within 28 days of receiving it provided you have contacted us within 7 days of receipt to advise of its return. Returns should not be used and must be in a resalable condition. The only exceptions to this are Christmas Trees. We will not pay the costs of returning an item to us. Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return things.

To get a full refund, simply return the item to us in its original condition, in its original packaging within 28 days of cancellation. If the item has been damaged, used or is not returned in its original packaging, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value if the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.

Are the plants guaranteed?

Yes. All fully hardy plants (all hardy shrubs, trees and perennials) are guaranteed for a period of 5 years from purchase, and other plants for their first flowering season, provided all instructions are followed. If the plant fails in the first 2 years, please send us a picture of the plant along with your order reference number to customerservices@rhsplants.co.uk. Once we have determined the cause of the problem we will endeavor to replace it or refund you. This guarantee does not include any plants damaged due to lack of watering or lack of proper horticultural care. In particular, plants will not be replaced if the plant care guidelines, sent out with the order, have not been followed.
