Terracotta ruffle bowl with glazed interior
Sealed inside with a clear glaze, our ruffled rim terracotta bowls make a great base for table centrepieces indoors or out. Pack them with indoor cyclamens or paperwhites to brighten up the Christmas table - a brilliant long-lasting alternative to cut flowers.
The bowl has a solid base and the glaze makes the clay less porous, though not completely watertight. To be extra careful you might want to sit it on a saucer to catch any excess after watering.
Handmade in Turkey from local clay, each bowl is high temperature fired for durability. Over time, the terracotta will age to an attractive patina as the salts slowly leach to the surface.
