This perennial is semi-evergreen so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

Viola ‘Sorbet XP Morpho’ is a mound-forming perennial with small, toothed leaves and fragrant, bi-coloured flowers in shades of blue and yellow with central dark markings and veins. This prolific and free-flowering plant has a neat, uniform habit that is perfect for hanging baskets, window boxes, and containers. Best grown as a seasonal cool season annual, the plant blooms from autumn through spring, and is ideal for patio displays, cottage gardens, and alpine rockeries.
Plant out in compost or well-drained, humus-rich soil that is not frozen or prone to waterlogging. Protect young plants from slug damage using our environmentally friendly, organic control methods. Deadhead the spent blooms to prolong flowering.
