Densely packed spires of flaming orange-red flowers, rise above the leafy clumps in early summer. An impressive perennial where you want a shot of vibrant colour, it can easily be incorporated into a border with a hot colour theme - or to add real drama, team it with rich purples and plum tones.
How to care for Lupinus Beefeater (PBR):
Stake with bamboo canes in spring before the flowers appear and deadhead the faded blooms to encourage a second flush of flowers. Protect young plants from slug and snail attack.
