Delosperma echinatum

pickle plant

Product Image
The leaves of this sweet little succulent are smothered with soft white hairs, which account for its common name of 'prickle plant'. Forming on longish stems, which become more pendent as they lengthen, the leaves of Delosperma echinatum are sometimes accompanied by small, starburst-like yellow flowers.

How to care for Delosperma echinatum:

Best grown in a bright, sunny spot indoors in free-draining cactus and succulent compost. Water sparingly when in growth, making sure the excess water can drain away freely, and then allowing the compost to dry out before repeating the process. Keep drier in winter and the temperature above 10 °C.
