Similar in appearance to the deciduous Salix integra 'Flamingo', 'Twilight' offers a compact, evergreen to semi-evergreen alternative. Compound leaves with lance-shaped leaflets, salmon-pink when young, age to green-splashed white. Well suited to pots and border locations, sprays of white flowers emerge in summer.
Please note that the pots in the photographs are not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.
How to care for Nandina domestica Twilight (PBR):
Select a sheltered location in full sun or partial shade, with well drained soil. When planting, mix some well-rotted garden compost into the excavated soil of the planting hole and dust the plant’s rootball with mycorrhizal fungi. Water in well and keep well watered during warm, dry periods. Once established, Nandina require little or no pruning. When required, prune in mid to late spring.
