An easy to grow, sun loving annual with attractive blue-green ferny foliage and silky blooms. Ideal for poor soils, gravel gardens or border edges. Californian poppies are incredibly easy to grow but they will put on a dazzling, summer-long performance.
How to care for Eschscholzia californica Apricot Chiffon (Thai Silk Series):
Prepare the bed well and sow shallowly into drills from March to May where they are to flower. When large enough to handle thin out the seedlings to 10 - 15cm apart, taking care not to damage the tap root. Water when necessary, but avoid excessively wet conditions.
