This natural slug repellent is made from seaweed harvested, dried and blended in the UK. Produced from Ascophyllum Nodosum (the bubbly seaweed you pop on the beach) the texture feels spiky and uncomfortable to slugs, deterring them from treated plants.
As the seaweed weathers and breaks down, it releases nutrients back into the soil, enriching it with nitrogen, potassium and phosphate to improve fertility and structure at the same time.
How to use:
Scatter in a ring around individual plants, at least 50mm wide and 2-3mm deep. Make sure no leaves overhang the granules, as this can give slugs a bridge to cross. Top up every 3-4 weeks or as needed.
Store in a cool, dry place. Safe to use around children, pets and wildlife.
