Narcissus 'Jack the Lad': With a vibrant display of golden yellow blooms accented by lavish orange segments, 'Jack the Lad' stands out as a beloved standalone narcissus for pots and borders. This clump-forming bulbous perennial boasts sturdy stems that bear large, fragrant, double flowers resembling peonies, and its robust nature and tendency for multiple blooms per stem make it a cherished favourite among gardeners. Grows to 40cm.
Narcissus 'Golden Aura': A clump-forming perennial daffodil distinguished by its slightly glaucous, strap-shaped leaves. From mid-spring, this impressive daffodil showcases solitary flowers, each boasting delightful widely overlapping petals and a bell crown, creating an enchanting display in a variety of garden settings. With flowers reaching up to 10cm (4in) across, 'Golden Aura' features bright yellow outer petals that encircle a large, golden yellow cup with a ruffled rim, exuding a delicate and lightly light perfume. Grows to 40cm.
Narcissus 'Apotheose': Boasting frilly-edged petals, 'Apotheose' stands out as an exquisite double daffodil, renowned for its captivating light, sweet fragrance, and blend of orange and yellow hues. Standing at around 35cm (14”) tall, this clump-forming daffodil features strap-shaped, grey-green leaves that provide an elegant backdrop to its striking blooms. With flowers reaching approximately 10cm (4in) across, this remarkable narcissus showcases a double layer of bright yellow outer petals, complemented by smaller petals in the centre adorned with frilly orange coronal sections. Grows to 35cm.
Plant 10-15cm (4-6in) deep from late summer to early autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, dead-head and allow the leaves to die back naturally before removing them.
