An eye-catching houseplant with bold, striped foliage in vivid shades of pink, silver and green. It produces trailing stems that quickly branch and spread, making it ideal for hanging baskets, shelves or tall pots. Leaves are smooth with fine hairs near the sheaths, giving the plant a subtle shimmer in bright light.
The leaf undersides show deep pink to purple tones, adding contrast and interest from all angles. Stems start upright but trail as they lengthen, creating a flowing, layered effect. This tropical houseplant thrives in bright, indirect light and responds well to regular pinching out to keep it bushy.

How to care for Tradescantia zebrina Pink Paradise:
Keep in a bright spot with plenty of indirect light – direct sun can scorch the leaves, but too little light will fade the vibrant colours. Maintain an average room temperature above 10°C (50°F) in winter, with an ideal range of 15-24°C (59-75°F) year-round for best growth.
Water well during the growing season (spring to autumn), allowing the top layer of compost to dry slightly between waterings. In winter, reduce watering to avoid soggy roots, as growth naturally slows. Tradescantia enjoys moderate humidity, so mist occasionally in hot, dry weather or if grown near radiators. Use a well-drained houseplant compost, and feed monthly during active growth with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Pinch back tips to encourage bushiness and remove leggy or faded growth.
