How to care for Selaginella Bottle garden / terrarium plant:
Give Selaginella bright, indirect light and consistently moist compost, as it dislikes both drying out and waterlogging. Keep it in a warm, humid spot such as a closed terrarium or bottle garden, misting lightly if humidity dips.
Use a free-draining but moisture-retentive mix with added moss or fine bark, and trim back any overlong stems to keep it compact. Keep it away from cold draughts, and avoid direct sun, which scorches the delicate foliage.
