Narcissus 'June Allyson'

large cupped daffodil bulbs

Product Image
This large cupped narcissus boasts pure white petals that gracefully frame a flamboyant orange-red trumpet adorned with delicate fringes. Beyond its cinematic beauty, 'June Allyson' proves its versatility as an excellent cut flower, perfect for adding a touch of glamour to any floral arrangement. Named after the iconic actress celebrated for her girl-next-door charm in the early 1950's, this show-stopping daffodil promises to captivate gardeners with its timeless elegance and resilience to deer and rabbits.

How to care for Narcissus June Allyson:

Wearing gloves plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) deep and 10cm (4in) apart in autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead the flowers, but do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this will interfere with the bulbs’ ability to store energy for the following year's flowers.
