Narcissus 'Jack The Lad'
double daffodil bulbs
This bulb dies back after flowering each year and enters a period of rest ahead of regrowth the following season.

- Soil: moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soil, or peat-free general purpose potting compost
- Rate of growth: average
- Flowering period: March to April
- Hardiness: fully hardy
With a vibrant display of golden yellow blooms accented by lavish orange segments, 'Jack the Lad' stands out as a beloved standalone narcissus for pots and borders. This clump-forming bulbous perennial boasts sturdy stems that bear large, fragrant, double flowers resembling peonies, and its robust nature and tendency for multiple blooms per stem make it a cherished favourite among gardeners.
Wearing gloves, plant bulbs 10-15cm (4-6in) deep from late summer to early autumn. After flowering feed with a balanced fertiliser, deadhead and allow the leaves to die back naturally.
