This adaptable perennial loves moist soils, so it can either be grown along the edges of a pond or in a bog garden. Spreading by creeping rhizomes to form a low clump of attractive leafy cover, it comes into its own in early summer when the sprays of small, bright blue flowers appear.
How to care for Myosotis scorpioides:
Plant 9cm pots directly into consistently moist soil, or submerge the aquatic planting basket option in shallow water (about 2-5cm or 1-2in). Keep the soil or water level evenly moist, especially during dry periods. In spring, divide any overcrowded or large clumps to maintain healthy growth and encourage fresh flowering.
