Monstera deliciosa has been a favourite for many years now. Once it gets going it can be truly impressive with large, glossy heart-shaped leaves which as the plant matures become distinctive perforated and deeply cut leaves.
It originates from tropical rainforests where the aerial roots help it to climb up into the canopy, so as your plant grows you want to gently push the aerial roots into moss-covered poles. (Moss pole not included).

How to care for Monstera deliciosa:
Keep your Monstera in a bright position, away from direct sunlight, which can scorch its leaves. It thrives in warm rooms with good natural light and appreciates occasional misting, especially when indoor air is dry. Wiping the leaves with a damp cloth helps keep them free from dust and maintains their glossy appearance.
Water regularly to keep the soil lightly moist, but never saturated — allow the top layer to dry out slightly before watering again. During winter, reduce watering and always check the compost first to avoid overwatering.
