From amongst the compact tussocks of this deciduous ornamental grass, upright, willowy stems emerge in late summer and autumn carrying violet flowerspikes that sway gently in the breeze. 'Heidebraut’ has stunning autumn colour with stems maturing to orange-yellow as the season progresses.
