If you are looking for an easy to grow groundcover that will look good for months on end, then look no further. Each spring the succulent foliage emerges a zesty green with a fine bright red edge. This forms a carpet, which in late summer, is topped with sprays of pink flowers that the bees love.
Hylotelephium 'Lime Zinger' is a great (and easy to grow) sedum that will flourish in a sunny spot. It also works well in patio pots.

How to care for Hylotelephium Lime Zinger (PBR) (SunSparkler Series):
Stonecrops grow best in full sun and well-drained soil, where their fleshy leaves won’t sit in excess moisture.
The flowerheads look great left during the winter to add shape and texture to your border. In February and March cut back the old flowerheads and apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of well-rotted garden compost or manure around the base of the plant.
Once established, sedums can have a tendency to flop leaving an open and unsightly centre, especially in fertile soil. One technique to help prevent this is the 'Chelsea chop'. During the last week of May (Chelsea Flower Show week), cut one in every three stems back to the ground. This will produce plants that are less lush and flower slightly later.
