Fragrant freesia collection

freesia collection

Product Image
These cottage garden favourites produce sprays of fragrant, funnel-shaped flowers at the ends of arching, branched stems in summer. A favourite with the florists, they look superb planted in a mixed border or just en masse in patio pots.

How to care for Freesia collection:

In spring, plant 8cm (3in) deep in soil in full sun. After flower buds appear, water regularly and feed with a liquid fertiliser every week. After flowering, reduce the watering until the corms are dry, then store in a frost-free place until planting for next year.

What's included:

Each collection contains 60 corms - 20 of each of the following:

  • Freesia 'White': Pure white, trumpet-shaped blooms with a sweet fragrance are carried on slender, arching stems, making this freesia a classic choice for cut flowers. In the garden, it brightens borders and containers, adding elegance and scent through the summer months. Grows to 25cm.

  • Freesia 'Golden Yellow': A beautiful flowering bulb bursting with bright, sunshine-yellow trumpet blooms carried on graceful, arching stems. Wonderfully fragrant and long-lasting, the flowers are perfect for cutting and add vibrant colour to borders, pots, and summer displays. Grows to 25cm.

  • Freesia 'Blue Moon': This flowering bulb produces elegant, upright stems topped with clusters of trumpet-shaped blooms in shades of soft lavender-blue with a delicate fragrance. Its long, arching sprays make it an excellent choice for cutting, while in the garden it adds colour and scent to borders, pots, and patio displays through summer. Grows to 25cm.
