Product Image
A deep magenta flowering cyclamen bedding plant with silvery foliage, this striking plant adds bold colour to indoor and outdoor spaces.

Ideal for cool, bright conditions, Cyclamen 'Tuxedo' works equally well as a houseplant or in sheltered outdoor settings like window boxes and pots.

Its unique colour palette and compact size make it a perfect choice for adding winter interest to your home or garden, thriving in cooler months while bringing a pop of seasonal brightness.

Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.

How to care for Cyclamen persicum Tuxedo:

Cyclamen thrive in well-draining, organic-rich potting compost or soil, with bright, indirect light, avoiding direct sunlight that can scorch leaves. These plants prefer cool conditions, ideally between 60-65°F (15-18°C), and can tolerate temperatures down to 40°F (4°C), but should be protected from frost.

Water your cyclamen when the top of the soil feels dry, watering individual pots from the bottom or around the edges to avoid wetting the crown. Never leave the pot sitting in water to prevent root rot. These plants appreciate higher humidity, so consider placing them on a pebble tray with water.

Cyclamen are sensitive to overwatering, so it's better to slightly underwater than overwater. During the growing season, feed every month with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser.

Gently removing spent flowers and their stems from the base, as well as any yellowing leaves. While the plant can be kept after flowering, it is often best used as a colourful seasonal annual or winter gift as it prefers a period of dormancy during the late spring and summer.
