Acting as a beacon to beneficial insects, these gorgeous flowers also make wonderful additions to cut or dried flower arrangements. Sought after by many of the best garden designers, Cenolophium denudatum is relatively recent introduction to the UK, and is bang on trend.
How to care for Cenolophium denudatum:
Plant in moist but well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade, ideally in a spot that doesn’t dry out in summer. Baltic Parsley is fairly low-maintenance once established but benefits from a generous mulch around the base in autumn to protect the roots and improve soil condition.
Deadhead the flowerheads before they set seed if you want to avoid self-sown seedlings appearing the following spring. Divide congested clumps in spring or autumn if needed to maintain vigour.
