Calendula officinalis 'Snow Princess'

English marigold, marigold, pot marigold

Product Image
A distinctive pot marigold with edible petals that shift in tone from creamy lemon on the upper surface to rich butter yellow beneath, creating a soft colour-changing effect as blooms open. The flowers of Calendula officinalis ‘Snow Princess’ appear in gentle succession, often showing multiple shades at once. Excellent for borders and cutting, and valuable for attracting bees and other pollinators throughout the flowering period.

The petals are edible, and can be used to enhance salads and garnishes.

How to care for Calendula officinalis Snow Princess:

Keep well watered and feed with a high potash fertiliser (such as Tomorite) at regular intervals throughout the growing season. Regular deadheading of the flowers will ensure even more appear until the first frosts.
