Betula 'Fascination'

birch 'Fascination'

Product Image
One of the very best birch trees for stem colour. Peeling, papery cream bark with beautiful variations of orange, brown and pink, ‘Fascination’ is the most gorgeous winter interest tree. Although glorious with its dark-green leaves appearing alongside brown-yellow catkins in spring, it’s seasonality of display extends over many months of the year.

This betula is single-stemmed, but they can be planted close together to create a multi-stemmed effect.

How to care for Betula Fascination:

Birches don’t need much pruning, but you may want to remove any diseased or crossing branches. It is essential that any pruning work is carried out between late summer and mid-winter as the sap will 'bleed' heavily at other times. When planting incorporate lots of well-rotted garden compost in the planting hole and stake well.
