This watering bag is designed to keep newly planted trees hydrated in any weather. It simply wraps around the tree stem, no need for staking. When filled with water it drips onto the ground below, seeping into and saturating the soil around the tree’s root ball.
The bag will empty slowly over 5-8 hours so unlike hand watering no water is lost through run off or evaporation. It’s a much more efficient way to water and encourages deeper root growth, making trees more stable and resilient. You can also use the bag to deliver soluble feeds.
The tear and UV-resistant ribbon fabric is made from 100% recycled polyethylene and fastens with a robust zip. Suitable for trunk circumferences of 8-30cm. For larger tree trunks, you can zip several bags together.
