Wool pot scarf - snail and slug barrier
Together with the Wool Pot Company, we’ve made this woollen pot scarf for use with our terracotta slug and snail resistant pots. You can also tie it tightly around any of your other pots that house slug-susceptible plants.
The fibrous texture of wool acts as an irritant and dehydrant to slugs and snails, who like a relatively smooth surface so they can glide along on their slime. They’ll start the ascent up your pots, but when faced with this scratchy Everest they’ll be inclined to turn back and head for pastures new.
Sustainably produced from 100% British wool. Supplied as a 5 metre roll.
