This sturdy rounded Great Dixter trowel makes light work of digging even in challenging soils. Designed to the specifications of British gardener and author Christopher Lloyd, the trowel was one of his favourite tools for planting and weeding.

Bevel-edged for sharpness, the long narrow blade is particularly good for planting bulbs and deep-rooted plants like sweet peas, as well as digging up tap roots and weeding in tight spaces.

The trowel is hand forged from stainless steel and finished with a smooth FSC ash wood handle. When dried, ash is one of the lightest, toughest hardwoods available as is absorbs shocks without splintering.

Supplied with a 10-year guarantee on steel parts (1 year for the handle).
