This is a finer, more nutrient-rich mulch, designed to do more than simply cover the soil. It's made from matured organic ingredients, enriched with natural nutrition, and forms a stable layer that gradually feeds the ground beneath.

Spread over beds and borders, it locks in moisture, protects roots from heat and frosts and reduces weed growth, while improving soil structure and making conditions better for plants and soil life alike.

It's gentle enough for young and sensitive plants, and suitable for use around edibles and ornamentals, helping promote a thriving, biodiverse garden.

How to use:

Mulching: Remove all weeds from the area and ensure soil is moist and not frozen. Rework the mulch between your hands to break up any large clumps. Spread a thick layer 3-4cm deep over the entire soil surface.

Improving soil: Spread a 3-4cm thick layer over the soil surface, then use a fork to incorporate it into the top 15-20cm of soil.

Store in a cool, dry place and wear gloves when applying.
