The tapered double-edged boron steel blade is sharpened along its entire length to produce a crisp cut, and the head is fixed to the ash shaft with a steel collet for superior impact resistance and durability.
As wooden handles naturally shrink over time, a locking nut fixes the head in place - letting you simply re-tighten it to keep the tool solid and strong.
For added comfort and easier control, the shaft is finished with an ergonomic extra-wide grip.
