Bird bowl on a stake - brushed brass

A decorative way to bring birds into the garden, these elegant stakes support beautifully spun metal bowls in a choice of either brushed brass or copper. They’ll stand tall in mature borders in full swing during the warm summer months, giving birds a cooling spot to drink and bathe.

When a bird perches to drink, the metal gives off a warm glow that will reflect on its underbelly, which makes a sweet sight.

We’ve left the brass surface untreated so it can age in a completely natural way in its raw state, achieving truly authentic earthy hues and tones. This ‘living’ finish is impossible to achieve under any other method or surface application. It also allows for the surface to be restored to a brushed finish if required using a little elbow grease and the scouring pad provided.

The ageing process does require some time to develop, so in the first instance it may appear blotchy, but this will only improve with age.

When pushing into the ground, place your foot on the ‘dog’s leg’ to drive the stake into the ground while holding it securely upright. If the ground is dry and hard, water it well to soften first to avoid damage.

Please note: only suitable to be a bird bath, not suitable for food. Change water daily.
