The white-flowering form has been popular for many years, but this trachelospermum is hailed as a bit of a breakthrough. The soft pink flower colour is very pretty, and it is claimed that they bloom over several months from late spring or early summer, so it should put on a prolonged display too. Trachelospermums are classy climbers, with lustrous evergreen foliage that looks good all through the year. This one is suitable for larger pots where it can be trained onto an obelisk or piece of trellis, and it will also thrive in the border if planted against a warm, sunny wall. - Garden care: After flowering has finished prune back to fit the available space. In frost-prone areas, grow in pots of loam-based potting compost, such as John Innes No.2 and move to a frost-free spot in winter.
