Versatile and easy-to-grow, Scilla luciliae (Boiss.) Speta is ideal for pots, gravel gardens, front of border pockets - or for naturalising under deciduous shrubs and trees.
How to care for Scilla luciliae (Boiss.) Speta:
Plant bulbs 8-10cm (3-4in) deep and 8-10cm (3-4in) apart in autumn, in clumps or naturalistic drifts where they can remain undisturbed for several years. Deadhead as the flowers fade to prevent self-seeding, or lift and divide congested clusters in summer when fully dormant.
