Panicum virgatum 'Niagara Falls' (PBR)

switch grass

Product Image
As part of the Prairie Winds collection, Panicum virgatum ‘Niagara Falls’ is a sturdy, deer-resistant switchgrass native to Canada. It forms dense clumps of architectural, powdery-blue arching foliage with textural clouds of creamy seed heads emerging in early autumn.

Known for its graceful movement and audible rustling in the breeze, this low-maintenance grass thrives in full sun. ‘Niagara Falls’ is a highly versatile choice for naturalistic and prairie-inspired landscapes, serving beautifully as a standalone specimen, in mass plantings, or in containers across both public and private spaces.

Please note that any pots in the photographs are not supplied with the plants (which are sent out in simple nursery alternatives), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.
