Made from denim-look cotton this cushioned hammock chair provides a cosy and comfy space to sit and enjoy afternoons in the sun. Each is hand-strung onto a dark stained pine spreader bar so it will swing from a single point.
It can be hung from a sturdy branch or even an arbour beam, as long as the hardware and hanging strings are strong enough to hold the weight of the occupant. The approximate weight limit is 120kg but please test robustly before use.
Hanging the chair:
Loop a heavy rope or chain over a sturdy tree limb or beam and attach the swing to the rope or chain with an 'S' hook or threaded quick link. Bear in mind it will stretch slightly when sat on, so allow for this when determining the seat's height.
Care and maintenance:
Although the fabric is mildew and fade resistant, avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and rain which may weaken the fabric and strings. When not in use, bring indoors.
The chair can be hand or machine washed at 40°C with mild soap and water (first remove the wood bar from the thread loops). Dry thoroughly before storage.
