This early-flowering gem sports oval-shaped, sticky, and hairy mid-green leaves that will have your neighbours ‘lime-green’ with envy.

A popular tender perennial commonly grown as an annual with a vigorous and slightly mounding growth habit, Petunia 'Surfinia Lime Green' has a trailing reach of up to 40cm (16in), perfect for your hanging baskets, containers, or seasonal ground cover. The veined, velvety flowers are the real showstopper, with a gramophone-trumpet shape and measuring around 6cm (2.5in) across.

How to care for Petunia Surfinia Lime ('Keiyeul') (PBR) (Surfinia Series):

Our bedding range and bedding collections (where available) are offered as seedlings, cuttings, and potted plants.

Pot up seedlings and cuttings and grow them on under glass until the risk of frost has passed. Once conditions are warmer, they can be planted directly into well-prepared beds, or used to fill patio pots, window boxes, and hanging baskets for long-lasting seasonal colour. Larger 9cm bedding plants don’t usually need potting on but will benefit from initial frost protection in spring.

To keep bedding plants looking their best, and where applicable, pinch out the tips to promote bushier growth and water regularly, especially in containers where compost dries out quickly. Feed with a high-potash fertiliser every couple of weeks to encourage continuous flowering. Deadhead faded blooms, as required, to extend the display and keep plants tidy, ensuring vibrant summer flowers from planting time right through to the first frosts.
