This easy to sow mini meadow is the ideal way to achieve the perfect habitat for pollinating insects like bees, bugs and butterflies. The pack contains wild flower seeds and a soil conditioner (Super Seaweed*) and Rootgrow mycorrhizal fungi to ensure they get off to the best possible start. A valuable tool to help teach children the importance of bio-diversity in gardening, this kit is is ideal for both the experienced and novice gardener, as once sown the meadow will require very little aftercare. Each mini meadow will contain a mix of UK native wild flowers including cornflower, poppies, oxeye daisies, corn marigolds and many more.

*Super Seaweed is derived from sustainably harvested kelp, which is manufactured using a unique cell burst process. This patented process ensures maximum retention of the growth stimulants found in kelp and contains a wide range of nutrients, vitamins and amino acids.

How to care for Empathy mini wildflower meadow with rootgrow:

Clear the area ready for sowing by removing weeds and other debris before sowing the seed in autumn or spring. Keep well watered and germination should commence within 28 days, although this will depend on the environmental conditions. Once the flowers have faded at the end of the year, mow the meadow at a high setting.
