This hefty nest box has been specially designed to give birds enhanced protection from predators. Built from WoodStone®, a mix of concrete and wood fibres, it’s a tougher and heavier proposition than standard timber boxes.
The thick skin gives woodpeckers and other large birds, as well as cats and squirrels, a much harder time trying to get inside. It also insulates the nest to create a more consistent internal temperature than a wooden box.
