Terracotta pot - glazed inside
These are nice chunky compact pots with no drainage hole and a clear glaze inside to make them watertight. Designed for indoor use, they’re ideal for popping in little succulents, ferns or other small houseplants.
Good for grouping together or using as little accents around the room, and they look great on the table too. These are hand thrown in Turkey from local clay and will age to an attractive patina over time as the salts slowly leach to the surface.
Please note: white specks in the terracotta are lime granules, which occur naturally in raw Turkish clay. Occasionally when pots are fired the clay around them can split out a little, but this won’t compromise the pot’s strength. Lime helps to bind the clay and ultimately makes for a stronger pot. As these are hand thrown, the measurements are approximate.
