Niwaki s-type hori hori with canvas sheath
This handy hori-hori is made from stainless steel to resist rust with a chunky beech wood handle for grip. It’s serrated on one side for sawing through thick roots and pruning, and straight on the other for slicing and cutting. A great tool you can grab for pretty well any job in the garden. Weeding, pruning, planting, dividing, harvesting - the lot.
Caring for your hori-hori
Clean after every use, dry well and apply a coat of camellia oil before storing in a dry place. A Crean Mate or scouring pad will scrub away any gunk and a sharpening stone will restore the edge. As with all hori-horis, it's not absolutely invincible. Avoid yanking it back in hard ground - it will bend.Key features:
