Curve cavity nest box
This unique new nest box has been created by naturalist Simon King OBE and features a curved entrance slot to mimic a natural tree hollow. Perfect for encouraging in small, shy birds including the tit family, sparrows and flycatchers.
Made from responsibly sourced timber, the 'yin and yang' design in green and natural wood brings something a little different to the garden. An easy-open side panel makes cleaning a breeze and the tough recycled plastic hanger makes it simple to install.
Installing the next box
First rotate and fully attach the hanger, then mount the nest box using one or two of the pre-drilled screw holes.
Fix to a tree, post or wall, around 2m high, ideally facing north/north-east so it won’t be in too much direct sunlight (if it’s in a shady spot, this won’t matter so much).
At the end of the season, around August/September, remove old nest material and give the box a good clean inside with hot soapy water ready for next use.
