An undemanding houseplant, 'Lemon Lime' adds a citrusy zing with its colourful mixture of green, cream and lime striped foliage. A tree-like stem develops over time carrying the luxuriant leaves with sideshoots that eventually help form a tall, undemanding housplant that does not take up much floorspace. A great choice for offices and brightly lit locations where space is at a premium but maximum impact is desired.
Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from.
How to care for Dracaena fragrans (Deremensis Group) Lemon Lime:
Water well, applying a liquid houseplant fertiliser, in the growing season, but less so in winter (allowing the top few cms of compost to dry out). Misting the leaves will help keep the humidity levels high, and keep the leaves dust-free and shiny. Repot in spring every couple of years and keep temperatures above 10°C in winter.
