Grown for its eye-catching, yellow-green stems, this deciduous shrub offers a sharp contrast to red and orange-stemmed dogwoods in winter displays. In spring, it produces small clusters of white flowers, followed by oval green leaves that turn red or purple in autumn.
Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea' works well as a feature near ponds or in damp, sunny borders, where its stem colour really pops against darker backdrops.
Prune back hard each spring to encourage strong new growth and maintain a vivid stem colour year after year.

How to care for Cornus sericea Flaviramea:
Incorporate some well-rotted garden compost when planting and scatter some mycorrhizal fungi on the rootball to aid establishment and water in well.
