Native to South Africa, bacopa are evergreen perennials that are popular as trailing annual summer bedding plants with their long flowering season from summer through to autumn. 'Snowflake' has small, toothed, ovate leaves and racemes of white flowers, perfect for floriferous hanging basket and pot displays.
To promote long flowering, deadhead any spent flowers. Add either a slow-release fertiliser to the compost, or apply a liquid feed each week during the summer.
