RHS award-winning ‘Hilo Holiday’ is a medium to large size rex-type Begonia with a uniform habit, an intensely coloured rosy-pink centre against a deep-green backdrop that darkens to black with age, sprinkled with the same rosy-pink dots around the margin.

How to care for Begonia Hilo Holiday:
Rex begonias require special care during the summer months. It's best to keep them in shaded areas and provide ample watering, ensuring proper drainage and maintaining a humid atmosphere around the plants. Avoid wetting the leaves or the crown.
As winter approaches, reduce the frequency of watering. Allow the compost surface to dry out before watering again. These begonias thrive with a minimum winter temperature of 13°C (55°F) across all varieties.
For optimal growth, feed them every two weeks from May to September using a high nitrogen fertiliser.
