A prolific cropper with long, elegant, slender fruits of glossy dark purple, produced in abundance on big, sturdy plants. Fruits mature early so you'll get a good crop even in a less-than-perfect summer. In milder areas can be grown outside in a sheltered, sunny spot, although for the highest yields you'll need the extra heat of a greenhouse.
