A new Chelsea award-winning later allium, which from midsummer produces slender stems topped with a neat, rounded cluster of purple star-shaped flowers. Relatively compact in habit, it can be used to add colour towards the front of the border, but it will also work well in pots and containers. - Garden care: Avoid excessive moisture from late summer when dormant. Keep in mind that the foliage tends to die back by the time the flowers open in early summer.
