Perfect for smaller gardens or maximising the productivity of your growing space, ‘Honey Bun’ forms a compact, bushy plant and has deep orange flesh with a honey-sweet flavour. Each plant can produce as many as four fruit and given the right growing conditions, the melons can reach up to 12cm (5”) in diameter. - Growing instructions: Plant in a greenhouse at 45cm intervals, and as they grow, train the stems up vertical wires. When the plants have developed approximately 7 leaves, pinch out the growing tip to limit their growth and keep them more manageable. Alternatively, after all risk of frost has passed, plant them out in a warm, sunny spot outside. keep well watered and once the fruits start to develop, feed each week with a high-potash fertiliser such as Tomorite.
