'Yellow Moon' produces a heavy crop of disease resistant, golden-skinned shallots, which have a good uniformity and tasty flesh. Suitable for growing on most soil types, they are resistant to bolt and as the bulbs store well, they can be added to a wide range of dishes for several months after harvest.
Sets are the easiest way to grow shallots in the garden, and will mature faster than those grown from seed. - Garden care: Plant this yelow shallot from January to April, 3cm deep and 12cm apart. They can then be harvested from July to September.
