This fern is deciduous so all its fronds will die back in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again each spring.

Discovered by Bob Hollister at Country Garden Plants near the Jurassic Coast in Dorset, this award-winning fern will liven up a shady border - and can also be potted for the patio.
