If vintage is your style, these aged metal bird lanterns make beautiful garden accents. Hang them from a crook in the border to illuminate plants, use them as table lights or stand them on a wall or paved area to add soft ambient light.
To give them an authentic look, the metal finish has been distressed to resemble the natural patina of age and exposure. This process is done by hand, producing unique variations in colour and finish that give each lantern its own individual character.
Twist and remove the base of the lantern to add a candle (it takes a standard pillar). With the candle lit and flickering away, the elegant scrollwork will be echoed in light patterns cast on nearby surfaces.
Please note: over time the lantern will rust if kept outside, enhancing the vintage finish. Candle not supplied.
