Bird lantern
If vintage is your style, this aged metal bird lantern makes a beautiful garden accent. Hang it from a crook in the border to illuminate plants, use it as a table light or stand it on a wall or paved area to add soft ambient light.
To give it an authentic look, the metal finish has been distressed to resemble the natural patina of age and exposure. This process is done by hand, producing unique variations in colour and finish that give each lantern its own individual character.
Twist and remove the base of the lantern to add a candle (it takes a standard pillar). With the candle lit and flickering away, the elegant scrollwork will be echoed in light patterns cast on nearby surfaces.
Please note: over time the lantern will rust if kept outside, enhancing the vintage finish. Candle not supplied.
