Also known as ‘Four O’ Clocks’, this bushy, tuberous perennial often cherished as an annual, boasts delightful salmon-pink flowers that exude a sweet evening fragrance. These flowers unfurl their petals in the late afternoon, remaining in bloom until the following morning, an enchanting cycle that continues throughout the season. These unusual pot and border ‘bedding plants’ initiate their vibrant display from midsummer, extending their flowering prowess until the arrival of the first frosts.

Garden care:
Grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed when they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed or large pot. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushier growth, and feed at regular intervals throughout summer with a high-potash fertiliser. Taller plants may need supporting with brushwood stems in exposed positions.
